It is our great pleasure to announce that 2017 marks the 25th year of WWIN. This anniversary has been made possible by the generous support and involvement of so many incredible donors, board members, staff and, of course, the compassion and enduring vision of our founder, Julia Love Pritt.
It is the hard work and dedication of so many people that has allowed WWIN to not only reach the quarter-century mark, but do so with an amazing sense of gratitude and optimism. We see this milestone as the start of a bright future of helping even more women reach their full potential.
Our theme for 2017 is “25 Years of Inspiring Women” in recognition of Julia and the 6,000 women who have flourished with a grant from the organization she created in 1992. Most importantly, it’s a celebration of the inspiring impact that these women’s accomplishments have had on the lives of those around them. They are proof that a WWIN grant is a gift that keeps on giving in so many ways.
This anniversary is also a chance to spread the word like never before, to boost awareness and expand our sphere so that someday soon we can give a grant to every eligible woman in the state of Washington. The more potential donors and grantees we reach, the more women we can help complete their education and improve their health.
The main event of our anniversary celebration will be a very special 25th Anniversary Luncheon on March 21, which promises to be our most inspiring yet.
