Thanks to your generosity and belief in women’s potential, we proudly celebrate the graduation of 70 WWIN Star Scholars this year.
For each woman, this achievement represents the realization of a cherished dream and years of hard work and determination — and it is especially meaningful for the 60% of our Star Scholars who are the first in their families to attain a college degree.
We are thrilled to share these highlights of the remarkable accomplishments of the Star Scholar class of 2024:
- 29 is their average age, with a range between 21 and 53
- They attended 24 different colleges and universities statewide
- 3.68 was their average GPA
- More than half completed a major in a STEM field
- 77% are employed or plan to attend graduate school within the next 2 years
- 100% responded “yes” when asked if WWIN helped them feel supported, encouraged, and empowered
