On September 17, we were delighted to gather in-person again at Novelty Hill-Januik Winery. Sip for Stars! is a lively celebration that helps provide scholarship dollars and support for the 200 Star Scholars in Washington colleges and universities this year.
At the heart of the evening – and the core of our mission – was the story we heard from Melissa, a first-generation college graduate who defied the odds to achieve her dream of becoming a Spanish teacher and igniting a passion for education throughout her family.
Our deepest thanks to the wine captains who helped fill our tent, and to all who “raised their glass” to help WWIN women succeed! We are happy to share that together, we raised more than $220,000 (and counting) to support Star Scholars.
