WWIN seeks a Development and Communications Associate to join our team.

Since our founding in 1992, WWIN has invested in the education and economic mobility of women across Washington so they can build the lives they imagine for themselves. Today, WWIN provides scholarships and comprehensive support to help women facing financial and systemic barriers persist in college, complete their degrees and move toward greater economic opportunity for themselves, their families and their communities.

WWIN currently serves 151 Scholars annually through the Star Scholar Program across 46 colleges and universities throughout Washington and has supported more than 600 Scholars and alumnae statewide. In addition to renewable scholarships of up to $5,000 annually toward a first bachelor’s degree, Star Scholars have access to emergency resiliency funding, career coaching, individualized support and a diverse statewide community of Scholars and alumnae.

WWIN serves a community of ambitious women pursuing transformative goals through higher education. Today, 72% of Star Scholars are first generation college students, 65% are women of color, 65% are age 25 or older and nearly half are parents, including 37% who are single mothers.
