The Grand Ballroom at the Westin Seattle was full of smiling faces yesterday as number of WWIN’s current Education Grantees took the stage during the Seattle Luncheon program. These amazing women–pictured above–shared their dreams and aspirations with a crowd of almost 300 attendees. The grantees, whose colleges and areas of study vary widely, were all so inspiring! We heard from women who want to work for top international accounting firms, manage architecture projects, serve foster youth, and teach K-12 art. Others aspire to be midwives, nurses, and autism researchers. It was absolutely thrilling to hear from each and every one of them…It brought WWIN’s vision, mission, and values to life right in front of our eyes.
These women are able to work towards their dreams because of contributions from so many generous donors, including the hundreds present yesterday. Thank you so much to all of WWIN’s supporters – you are truly making dreams come true!
We encourage those who were unable to be there yesterday to attend the Bellevue Luncheon on May 1 to hear from more incredible women like these. It will be a truly inspiring event – please join us!
