Please join us March 7 – 11, 2022 to celebrate and support the women of WWIN
Welcome to the Inspiring Women campaign!
We are so excited to celebrate transformation with you as we raise crucial funds to support WWIN Star Scholars during this year’s Inspiring Women campaign. These remarkable women have shown strength, courage, and determination on their path to completing their college degrees and achieving living-wage careers. They are driven not only to achieve economic stability for themselves and their families, but also to pay it forward and make a difference for others.
You can help make lasting transformation possible for hundreds of women in Washington State through your support of WWIN. You will hear from Alondra, Christina-Marie, and Susan below as they share their stories in their own words. Please join us in watching their stories in our week-long video series.
Transformation
is at the heart of each Star Scholar’s Story

Inspiring Women 2022
We hope you’ll make a gift today to help a Washington woman reach her full potential. When a woman sees what’s possible, she aims high. With the right support, she reaches her full potential. And when she succeeds, her community thrives. It starts with one woman.
Our Star Scholars

Star Scholar: Alondra
Alondra’s dreams are fueled by her family’s long legacy of hard work, ambition, and hope for a better future. A proud Mexican American woman and first-generation college student, Alondra is motivated to set a positive example of leadership, activism, and community-building for other young people. With support from WWIN, she is now nearing her college graduation with a degree in Business Administration and Management – an achievement that has been generations in the making. You helped make this milestone possible and transform the future for Alondra, her family, and countless others who are inspired by her example.

Star Scholar: Christina-Marie
Christina-Marie always knew that something was different about the way she experienced the world and communicated with others, but it wasn’t until one of her youngest children was identified as Autistic that the pieces finally fit together. Finding her Autistic identity provided both clarity and purpose. As a WWIN Star Scholar, Christina-Marie is pursuing a degree in Psychology with a goal of achieving her doctorate and serving the Autistic community as a clinical provider – especially for women and nonbinary individuals. Your support enables Christina-Marie to realize her potential as a leader and fuels her dream to improve the quality of psychological services available for Autistic people.

Star Scholar: Susan
Faith in God inspires and sustains Susan, motivating her to use her Nursing skills to care for and improve the lives of others. Susan came to the United States alone at the age of nineteen, and she experienced significant financial hardship and homelessness before being accepted into the prestigious BSN program at the University of Washington. Her WWIN Star Scholarship was an answer to her prayers – and it has been a crucial part of her journey to economic stability, easing her financial worries and boosting her confidence. Today, thanks to your support, Susan is developing the Nursing and public health experience to change the lives of families (especially mothers and children) here in Seattle as well as in Kenya and other developing countries.
“Thank you for supporting WWIN – thanks to you, I am closer than ever to achieving my dreams!”.”
– Star Scholar, Alondra
