WWIN operates under the thoughtful guidance and direction of a volunteer Board of Directors and a staff of 4 full time employees.
For the fiscal year 2021, the Board consists of 15 individuals with a broad range of experience and expertise. The role of the Board is to govern the organization through strategic planning and to provide fiscal oversight and guidance. Board terms are for three years and board members may serve up to two terms.
Michelle has 25 years of experience in executive level roles in the nonprofit and healthcare sectors with a Masters in Healthcare Administration. Michelle has led WWIN since July 2011. Michelle is married and, together with her husband, has 4 children and 2 dogs and they live on a beautiful lake in Black Diamond. Michelle enjoys kayaking, hiking, writing and helping others using her skills as an ordained minister and certified coach.
Role: As Executive Director, Michelle leads the organization’s strategic plan, cultivates major donors, and ensures execution of key initiatives and effective and efficient operations. In addition, Michelle is the main connection with the Board of Directors.
Events and Operations Director
Monique has worked in the nonprofit and profit sectors for over twenty years. Her work experience includes communications and events management as well implementing major marketing campaigns and public relations efforts for both small local and large national organizations. Monique has worked at WWIN since October 2011. Monique lives in Kirkland and is an active volunteer at her church and each year, makes an annual mission trip to international communities in need, most recently Haiti, Honduras and Africa.
Role: As Events and Operations Director, Monique oversees all of WWIN’s events, including coordination of two highly successful annual fundraising events, as well as WWIN’s operations including bookkeeping and our annual audit.
Role: As Program Director, Lindie manages all of our Grants programs, including the grant applications and reviews, outcomes data and relationships with our grant recipients and providers/schools.
Community Engagement Director
Tiffany has over 20 years of non-profit experience with events, fund development, major gifts and volunteer management and she has earned her CFRE (certified fundraising executive) along with her Bachelors from the University of Washington. Tiffany lives in Burien with her husband Todd and two teens Alexa and Corey. She volunteers regularly to support her community and her children’s schools and sports activities.
Role: As Community Engagement Director, Tiffany engages donors in our mission, communicating the impact of our programs, and recognizing the community for everything they do for the women of WWIN. Utilizing development best practices Tiffany will ensure WWIN can get the most out of technology, marketing, events and other fundraising avenues.
